Hyderabad, Are You Bold & Beautiful Enough To Change With #MissIndia2017?

India has given the World a lot of women to celebrate, be it for their beauty or brain, time and again Femina Miss India contestants have achieved what most men haven’t for the past few decades and put India on the center of the Globe. It is that time of the year again when talents from all across the Nation put their best foot forward to display both inner and outer beauty.

And the city of Pearls is no exception. The state of Telangana has produced wonderful gems know for both their physical and mental attributes, ranging from Dia Mirza to Sania Mirza. Although a section of the society looks down upon beauty pageants, this year Femina Miss India is giving all the right reasons for it’s critics to show the foundation some respect with their #WeAreChanging campaign. The two changes this year would be:

  1. There wouldn’t be a BIKINI Round. Yes, you read it right. No more comfort issues for girls who come from more conservative backgrounds to participate with confidence.
  2. The height criteria now would be 5 feet 5 inches and above. Yes wA contestant getting her Height checkede Indians are average heightened and it’s time to exactly celebrate that and show the World how it’s done!






The contestants will be judged by none other than the biggest name in the South Indian fashion industry Shravan Kummar, who well known nationally and internationally for reviving Indian hand-loom craftsmanship down South.


The selected contestants will be guided for their South zone mentor, Parvathy Omanakuttan, the Femina Miss India World 2008.
