Gazal Mishra Spread Indian Hues In The Arabian Peninsula At The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, 2015 In Doha

The Indian desert met the Arabian Peninsula when Jaipur based designer Gazal Mishra showcased her winter bridal wear collection themed as the ‘Essence Of Rajasthan’ for the social cause of ‘Save The Peacock’ at The Marriott, Doha at MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK 2015. The collection which she showcased was based on values that depicted the varied cultural traditions of Rajasthan. Also, it was a blend of different traditional styles such as Tie and Dye, art of block prints with a blend of vibrant colors in natural tie and dye.



“The designs on garments are beautifully decorated by Jardozi and Gota-patti and I have carved the peacock designs on the garments spreading the message to save Indian national bird, that adds the message with a social cause into my designs”, said designer Gazal Mishra.


Lokesh Sharma who choreographed the show said, “It is a matter of great pride for me to choreograph this show and to be the only representative choreographer from India”.
